The Aura
Aura is Greek for 'breeze' or 'breath' and the word is used to describe the electro-magnetic energy field that surrounds the body of any living being.
We all know the feeling of being crowded, that someone is 'in our space'. On a crowded bus, for example, we pull back our auras and literally take up less space. Imagine the difference when you are sitting on a peaceful beach in the sunshine. You relax and you extend your aura to take up all the space you can.
Highly sensitive people can often sense aura energies. Clairvoyant (clear-seeing) people may see colours as halos around people, plants and animals. Clairsentient (clear-feeling) people may use their hands to feel energy blocks in someone's aura.
The aura has 4 layers, each containing different information about its owner. The aura can be viewed through the use of kirlian photography.
