About me

My name is Henriette Hackenberg and I am a healer. I have been a good many things in my time as far as roles and titles are concerned, but Healer and Teacher are the first terms I feel really comfortable with. I know that I am here to heal and to teach. 
My whole life I have searched for 'home'. I was born in Copenhagen in 1972 and when I was nine my parents moved to Spain and I went along. We lived there for nearly 10 years and were quite happy. Yet I always had the feeling that 'home' was somewhere else and I had a deep longing for it. At the age of 17, I went back to Denmark for 6 months. I had fully expected this to be the 'home' I had missed for so many years. 
But it felt different- the cold winter was a lot darker than I had remembered and the people I had missed were naturally busy with their own lives. The excitement I had experienced during summer holidays clearly could not carry my expectations all year round. By this time my parents moved to the small Pyrenean country of Andorra and for lack of other options I went with them. I met my partner and we built up a life and a business together. But the mountainous ski resort populated mainly by retired people wasn't my idea of home either.

In 1996, I moved to the Netherlands and started working in an IT company. I worked hard and specialised in Marketing and Communications. My evenings and weekends were spent studying for my distance MBA from the Open University. By the time I finished my studies in 2000, my relationship had broken up and I felt completely empty and lost in life. I had always worked so hard but where did it get me!?
I realised it was time to get to know myself on a deeper level. I simply had no choice but to deal with all the feelings that overwhelmed me. This need took me to CICO, Utrecht where I qualified as a healer. The first time I did a healing, I felt a rush of recognition, "this is who I am!" For four years I worked through a number of courses in healing, reading and self development. During this time, I was also led to the angels. 
I had read books by Doreen Virtue and was interested in angels, but they seemed quite distant to me. Working with angel cards helped me, but I still couldn't feel them! 
One night I came home after a particularly emotional evening at CICO and there was an angel in front of my door. I felt and knew this strongly, more than actually seeing him. 
I assumed he had come to protect me, so I just thanked him as I walked by and bade him Goodnight! A series of events guided me to the ATP (Angel Therapy Practitioner) training with Doreen Virtue and as soon as I felt the powerful angel energy, it all clicked into place. This was my 'home' and my life purpose. 

The angels, and later the Masters, have led me through a great many lessons since then. Working together with the angels is not always easy and you never know what will happen next! When I feel resistance to their guidance, I try to release control and to fully trust, for when I look back I know they have been there every step of the way and have never let me down.
